Business Team Benefits are a feature that is automatically included in all Business Team profiles in TeamUp. This feature enables businesses to offer specific benefits to those users who have joined their Business Team as fan members. You can recognize Business Team Benefits from the icon that looks like a present in the company's profile.
By using Benefits, companies that have a Business Team profile in TeamUp can award their fan members, who typically have joined the team because the company has an ongoing partnership with an interesting FanPage. Companies may offer different kinds unique of benefits, experiences or items, related to the FanPages they're sponsoring, that you might not find anywhere else.
In order to be able to see what kinds of exciting things are available behind the Benefits icon, you must have joined the Business Team in question as a fan member. For users who are not yet fan members of the team in question, the present icon, representing Benefits, will be shown in light grey color. When an user clicks the icon, it opens a popup window where you can join the team as fan member.
If you already are a fan member of the Business Team, you can see the available benefits either in the company's profile by clicking on the Benefits icon, or in the private view of your own profile, where the Benefits will be visible as shown in the screenshot below.
When you click on the Benefits icon in this view, it will open a new page called My Team Benefits where you can see all benefits that are made available for you by all the Business Teams you are a fan member of. In each Benefit there is a "Read more" link, where you can see a more detailed description about the benefit as well as the terms and instructions how you can claim it for yourself. Benefits might be available only for a limited period of time or for a limited number of users.
If you don't want to claim a Benefit for yourself right away, you can make a mark of the most interesting ones by clicking on the "Interested" link at the bottom of the benefit. This will save the benefit in question in your list of "Interested" benefits. The "Interested/Not interested" links are also your way of giving feedback to the businesses about the benefits they are offering. This, in turn, gives the businesses the opportunity to develop their benefits to a direction that is more interesting to their fan members.
